San Francisco City Chorus The San Francisco City Chorus(SFCC) performs three major concerts a year. Membership is open to anyone interested in choral music. Members include men and women from all walks of life, brought together by a shared love of music and commitment to providing meaningful musical experiences for singers and audiences. Past performances have included works by Bach, Brahms, Britten, Bernstein, Copland, Handel. Haydn, Jongen, Mozart, Orff, Poulenc, Rossini, Weber, and Vaughan Williams. SFCC's annual Christmas caroling is a treasured San Francisco tradition.

Auditions are held in September, January, and April. Music reading skills and prior choral experience are highly recommended! SFCC is committed to helping members become stronger singers and musicians and supports them by providing practice tapes, sectional rehearsals, and individual assistance as the chorus prepares for concerts. However, members must be able to learn their music in ways they know work for them and must be committed to meeting SFCC’s performance standards. Come join us!
